Located 8 mi (13 km) from the park is Lake Amistad, giving guests the option of some swimming, fishing or boating for a day. The grounds have pull-through sites with cement patios and are separated with fences to provide privacy. Tent sites are offered, as well as horseshoe pits and a recreation room with Internet, excercise equipment, a hot tub and a pool.
